May 2015 - Civic Reception for the Reserve Team

The superb exploits of the clubs Reserve Team, were honoured with a Civic Reception at Creasey Park on Thursday 28th May.

The team completed an extraordinary treble success this season, with winning the Bedfordshire Intermediate Cup, SSMFL North and West Division and the overall champions of the Reserve Section of the SSMFL by winning the play off final against St Margaretsbury, the champions of the South and East Division. The team with an average age of just over 19, shows the club is going in the right direction with promoting youth. A special mention goes to 18 year old Brayden Judge (3rd from left, back row), who started out as a 8 year old with AFC Dunstable and played at every age group. He is the first player in the club to reach that achievement then move into the senior game.

The team and staff were greeted by the Town Mayor of Dunstable Liz Jones and were honoured for their achievements. During the reception, the Town Mayor congratulated the squad and handed out the championship trophy and medals for the SSMFL North and West Reserve Division.
