AFC support the local community again
AFC Dunstable are delighted to announce, that they will be supporting an organisation that helps local youngsters.
Directional CIC were formed in October 2013 and they support young people and the challenges they may face in life. They create good working relationships and inspire young people to be the best they can be.
On Thursday 10th November, Directional will be holding "A Choose to Succeed Showcase" at the Luton Library Theatre. It is an evening for the local youngsters to recognise their talent and success and inspire future generations.
While the showcase will be a great evening, there are still young people who will not be able to attend for various reasons. AFC Dunstable will be sponsoring 14 young people to attend the function, which includes transport to and from the theatre.
An AFC spokesman said "we as a club know what great work this organisation does. We knew they had a showcase coming up and we asked the question of what we could do to help. While many youngsters would love to attend the showcase, it is out of their hands. Director of Directional CIC Jermaine Hall and Secretary of AFC Craig Renfrew came up with the idea to sponsor some young people to attend"
This the 2nd time this year that AFC Dunstable have supported a local good cause. Back in April they donated their mini bus to Music 24.
