NEW SEASON 2007-2008

Thinking we could not beat season 2005-06, we did as we picked up 6 trophies across all age groups. The biggest success though was the club achieving FA Charter Standard Development Club and following it up by winning Development Club of the year.
Only another 6 clubs in the county of Bedfordshire hold this prestigious award and they are all youth clubs. As we cover from adult to youth we are a first in this field. We are now working toward the pinnacle which is FA Charter Standard Community Club. We are now breaking into disability football and are looking to set up a girls team.

The forthcoming season we will see 11 teams competing in organised leagues at 1st, Reserve, Under 18's, 16's, 14's, 13's, 12's, 11's, 10's, 9's & 8's level. 2 further teams will be competing in friendlies, those teams are Under 7's and Veterans.

A big thankyou must go to the following schools for the use of their playing fields. They are Brewers Hill School, Beecroft School & Lancot School.

1st Team: SSMFL Division Two Champions: Bedfordshire Senior Trophy Winners: SSMFL Division Two Cup Runners up.

Under 18's: Bedfordshire Under 18's Floodlit Cup Runners up.

Under 16's: Bedfordshire Under 16's Cup Runners Up: CYL Division One Runners Up.

Under 12's. CYL Division One Champions.

Under 10's: Beds Mini Soccer League Cup Winners: Bournemouth Classic Cup Winners: Beds Mini Soccer League Runners Up.

Under 8's: Beds Mini Soccer League Cup Winners.

Even though 2006-07 was trophy laden, we will still encourage, especially the youth teams, to enjoy their football and not have a "win at all cost" attitude.
