New Vice President
The club are so delighted that Sally Collins has accepted a position of Vice President. Sally has been a driving force behind our female section for 6 years now and it is mainly down to Sally that it has flourished in that time.
Back in 2011, she formed her team at Under 11 in the Chiltern 7's League. Sally's team have improved every season and it culminated in them winning the Bedfordshire County Cup at Under 16 in the season just finished.
Sally will join her husband Dave, who has held a Vice President role for 4 years now and the club know they are in safe hands with this dream team. There dedication and devotion to AFC Dunstable is undying and we look forward to them holding their positions for many years.
AFC's Chairman Simon Bullard said " what Dave and Sally have brought to our club has been nothing short of amazing. You have to understand, they work non stop with their business, but still devote their precious time to our club. Sometimes presidential roles in organisations are just in name only but Sally and Dave are hands on and are always working hard to improve our club. With Sally joining Dave as a Vice President, we now feel the club is complete and we look forward to the future"
Sally's nomination will be received at the clubs AGM on Saturday 1st July.
